Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at “Fresh Off the Boat” star Constance Wu after her negative reaction to the sitcom’s renewal last week.

On Friday, the actress shared her frustration that the sitcom was picked up for a sixth season, tweeting, “So upset right now that I’m literally crying,” along with two expletives. She later apologized for her knee-jerk reaction in a lengthy statement, explaining that she “loves and enjoys” “Fresh Off the Boat,” but is “disappointed” that she’ll no longer be able to do a project she considers a bigger “artistic challenge” due to scheduling conflicts.

Kimmel, who appeared at a Disney presentation Tuesday announcing new and returning programming, poked fun at Wu as he roasted a slew of ABC shows.

“Only on ABC is getting your show picked up the worst thing that can happen to you,” Kimmel joked, earning laughs. “Sorry, Constance. At least you got 9,300 (Twitter) likes.”

“(NBC’s) ‘This is Us’ was renewed for three years,” he added later. “Or as Constance Wu would call it, a death sentence.”

ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke voiced her support for the star at a press conference earlier in the day, saying there are no hard feelings.

Echoing Wu’s statement, in which she implored people to “believe women,” Burke ended by saying, “I’m going to choose to believe Constance’s most recent communication about the show, that she is happy to return. The cast and crew are happy to have her back, and we’re thrilled to keep her in the show.”

“Fresh Off the Boat” is based on celebrity chef Eddie Huang’s 2013 memoir, and follows a Taiwanese-American family in Florida in the 1990s.

Wu had her big-screen breakout in last summer’s “Crazy Rich Asians,” and will next star in stripper drama “Hustlers” with Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B this fall.
