Rapper Marshall Mathers, lauded for his sharp and poignant music under the moniker Eminem, took to Twitter to celebrate 11 years of sobriety on Saturday.

Over the years, Mathers has been open about his battle with addiction, and has spoken about his mother also using drugs.

Yet, on Saturday, a celebration of the long journey was shared.

Coin facing up in his open palm, the inscribed words “To Thine Own Self Be True” can be seen circling a triangle marked with the words “Unity, Service, Recovery.”
